This sculpture is a symbol of natural Evansville, incorporating the horseshoe bend in the Ohio River as its theme. The steel-lace pattern is a matrix of arcs containing abstracted images of local flora & fauna from the old-growth forest that is within the city limits. If one studies the sculpture, one can find animals and more hidden within the steel lace.  The hand-brushed finishes reflect sunlight in the day and custom lighting at night
