Roger White Stoller

artist/founder

Roger White Stoller is an American sculptor and founder of Stoller Studio, Inc. Stoller’s work is characterized by his use of metal, particularly stainless steel and bronze, to create large-scale, abstract sculptures that explore the intersection of geometric form and meaningful imagery specific to a people & place. Stoller’s public sculptures are often site-specific, designed to interact with a community’s identity and it’s surrounding environment, while engaging the viewer’s perception of space relative to the site. His pieces are featured in public installations and private collections throughout the United States.

Prior starting Stoller Studio he worked in the SJSU Foundry for 4 years, spent 15 years and started 2 firms in the field of industrial design developing innovative products that combine form, function and ergonomics. He received a BS in Product Design from the prestigious Art Center College of Design and worked as traveling assistant to Buckminster Fuller over a 5-year period.

Stoller’s sculptures are a testament to his mastery of the medium of metal and his ability to create works that are both visually stunning and emotionally engaging.

With his wife & creative partner, Naomi Stoller, they have 4 children and 4 grandchildren who are their pride and joy. In his spare time Roger goes surfing and swims in a Master’s Swim program.

David Naisuler

studio director / CAD / lead fabricator

Inspired by generations of metalworking and engineering in his family tree, David brings an innate understanding of the nature of sculptural media to the Studio. First taught to fit and braze bicycle components at 15, he took his first welding and mechanical drafting courses at 17, and has been fabricating in metals ever since. After acting as design assistant and fabrication lead in several art and furniture studios, he moved to solidify his standing in the field with a BFA in sculpture, including a concentration in industrial design, beginning his climb into the modern realm of digital arts and production.

David now brings a vast set of talents to the Studio. His focus on CAD/CAM, materials science and mechanical design strongly aides the Studio’s aspirations and fuels a highly creative rapport with Roger and the Studio team. While advancing the Studio’s stainless steel fabrication and bronze / glass casting facilities in California, Roger and David have designed, fabricated and installed public and private works around the country together since the year 2000.

Anthony Teixeira

shop director / lead fabricator

Anthony heads up the Studio Shop in San Jose.  Joining Stoller Studio as a finisher in 2012, Anthony’s well-rounded and wide range of skills continues to be a true asset to the team. He quickly and gracefully grew into the role of leading fabrication and studio operations.

He is a lifelong bay area resident whose love for building things, combined with his passion for creativity led him into the arts. In 2006 he received his BFA from San Jose State University with an emphasis in spatial art

After graduating, Anthony worked with several artists honing his skills in metal casting, mold-making, stonework, working with resins, and applying artistic finishes to countless mediums. Projects he worked on ranged from small scale private commissions to large scale public works, and his love for working with people making art truly blossomed.

When Anthony is not in the Studio, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters

Justin Wilder

senior fabricator

Justin has been part of the Stoller Studio design team since 2019, brought on to the team by Anthony while attending San Jose state where he studied Design Studies and Spatial Art.

Having a background in building, his skill with metal fabrication accelerated under the tutelage of Anthony. He has since become the senior fabricator at the studio.

In his free time, he enjoys being in the ocean, hand building surfboards and fishing.

Maggie Wilde

office manager

Maggie supports the team by making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the Studio.

As a child Maggie fell in love with art during her first visit to New York’s MOMA.  Seeing the work of Van Gogh instilled the desire to always have art in her life.  She reports that she wasn’t blessed with a lot of artistic talent herself, but her keen eye has kept her involved with many arts organizations over the years.  The opportunity to work in the creative environment of Stoller Studio brings her joy.  Seeing a piece take shape in the Studio and then visiting the sculpture after installation fulfills the “I love art” side of her personality.

After an MBA from NYU, Maggie worked in the computer industry whilst still keeping her toes in the art world. Working with Stoller Studio and keeping the paperwork flowing fulfills the ‘keep it organized’ side of her personality. In her spare time, she enjoys collecting contemporary art, visiting museums and galleries, supporting the performing arts, watching Formula 1 races and being a devoted Colorado Rockies fan.
