A celebration of the natural elements and the blazing west-Texas sun. Under the sculpture is a 12’ dia. granite medallion, etched with patterns of the four elements. In ancient traditions water symbolizes emotion, air is mind, fire is spirit, and earth is the physical.  Related patterns flow up the embossed steel and metal-lace of the sculpture, an encompassing gesture and metaphor for our fragile planet.
