The piece stands 22′ high and consists of cast bronze and a 10 ton carved granite bolder. The bronze was built at the Studio in San Jose, CA and the granite portion was quarried and carved in Chennai, India under Stoller's direction.

Winner of a national sculpture competition held by the ALZA Corporation, Tetrahelix is located in front of the 21-acre corporate headquarters occupied by Google at the intersection of Charleston and Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA. The work was selected in conjunction with the City of Mountain View's Public Art Committee.
