These electronically activated bronze
gates form the entry to the Renski residence in Woodside, California.
The central cast gates are part of a 40' span of bronze fence
panels and steel pillars spanning the front drive and garden.
1. The pedestrian gate, made of waterjet cut bronze,
hangs
from rusted corten steel posts.
2. At sunset, shadows cast across the paving.
3. Detail: pedestrian gate handle, lock and clapper.
4. View from inside: gates slide open behind the pillars.
5. Waterjet cut bronze fence panels span the areas between
the rusted corten steel pillars.
